Maria Kotsonis, MA, CCC-SLP, TSSLD, earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from St. John’s University. She holds New York State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and a Professional Certificate as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Maria also holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Maria has experience working with both pediatric and adult clients across various settings, including preschool, elementary school, home-based environments, and private practice. She is trained in PROMPT therapy and incorporates this approach extensively in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of her clients. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals with autism, language disorders, fluency disorders, sensory processing disorder, articulation disorders, and voice disorders.
When she’s not working, Maria enjoys recording episodes of SLPs Wine and Cheese, practicing yoga, and traveling the world.
