Lauren Calandruccio, PhD, CCC-A, is an audiologist and an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University in the department of Psychological Science where she has an affiliation with the department’s Communication Sciences Program. In 2018, she was the first co-current winner of both the Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and the Dr. J. Bruce Jackson, Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring at CWRU. Dr. Calandruccio is on the American Speech-Language Foundation Board of Trustees and is a past editor for the American Journal of Audiology. Her research on speech perception in noise focuses on informational masking and bilingual populations and is funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders
