Dr. Kimberly McIvor, SLPD, MSc, S-LP(C), CCC-SLP, R, is a speech-language pathologist who has practiced in both Canada and Bermuda since 2005. Her current areas of interest include implementation science and the use of technology to enhance service delivery. Her previous research focused on using EEG/ERPs to explore speech perception and its relationship to language and literacy development.
Dr. McIvor earned multiple degrees from Dalhousie University: a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience (2001), a Master of Science in Human Communication Disorders—Speech-Language Pathology (combined thesis/clinical track, 2004), and a Bachelor of Arts in French (2008). She completed her Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology (SLPD) at Northwestern University in 2022.
She is currently pursuing a post-doctoral fellowship at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and works as an independent contractor and clinical S-LP supervisor in both Halifax and Bermuda.
