Karina McCollum, MEd, has been teaching for 14 years, specializing in the birth–5-year-old age range with a focus on children with special needs. She is especially passionate about working with medically fragile and medically complex children, which involves dynamic collaboration with their families and multidisciplinary teams.
Karina holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Coastal Carolina University and an Individually Designed Master’s in Special Education from Lesley University. She has also completed numerous professional development courses tailored to the unique needs of the students she serves.
Karina firmly believes that the most valuable insights about the children she works with come from their parents and the team of therapists who play a vital role in their lives.
