Julieanne Granados, MEd, CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist who resides in Fayetteville, NC, with her husband, daughter, and Boston Terriers. She is the co-owner of Southeastern Communication and Swallowing Specialists and has been practicing since 2012.
Julieanne completed her undergraduate training at Appalachian State University and earned her graduate degree at North Carolina Central University, with special interests in feeding and swallowing, oral-motor development and its relation to speech and feeding, early intervention, and bilingual language development.
Prior to completing her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, Julieanne worked as an early intervention play therapist, where she developed a love for the birth-to-three population, gained experience working with bilingual families and their children, and completed training in ABA.
Since becoming an SLP, Julieanne has completed multiple trainings in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, is certified in pediatric VitalStim, has completed training in orofacial myology, and is currently working toward certification as a Board Certified Swallowing Specialist. Her current areas of interest and research include pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders in medically fragile children, orofacial myology, and ankyloglossia.
