Ellyn Arwood, EdD, CCC-SLP, is a Professor at the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon, with national and international recognition for her scholarship in language, cognition, learning, neuroeducation, and special needs. Over the past four decades, Dr. Arwood has served on the faculty of multiple universities, where she has taught and provided hands-on clinical experiences to children and adults with communication impairments across diverse populations.
She is the author of several textbooks and a monograph exploring the application of pragmatism to communication disorders, learning processes, and the use of language as a tool for learning.
