Bettina Lopez-Lam, MS, CCC-SLP, IBCLC, CLC, is a neurodivergent speech-language pathologist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Autism parent advocate. As a second-generation Filipino-American immigrant, trauma survivor, and mother to an autistic son, Bettina brings a deeply personal lens to her work. She is passionate about educating others on neurodiversity-affirming practices, sharing her lived experiences, and exploring the journey of re-parenting and mental health healing following her late diagnoses of autism and ADHD.
Based in New Jersey, Bettina lives with her husband and two young children and runs her private practice, Milk & Hvni, where she offers holistic, trauma-informed speech and feeding therapy alongside lactation consulting services. She also co-hosts the Not a Tiger Mom podcast with neurodivergent BCBA and fellow parent Jenny Lai. Together, they challenge cultural and professional stigmas and support Asian American and Pacific Islander families navigating autism diagnoses.
