Amy Maguire

Amy, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist specializing in cognitive-linguistic care for individuals with brain tumors and their families. She has practiced at Massachusetts General Hospital for the past seven years, providing both inpatient and outpatient services. In addition to her primary focus on neuro-oncology, Amy has clinical experience in the ALS and Huntington’s Disease clinics and supports patients with cognitive-linguistic challenges stemming from a wide range of diagnoses, including cancer-related cognitive impairment, stroke, concussion, multiple sclerosis, HIV, and cerebellar cognitive affective syndrome. Amy is an active member of the Society for Neuro-Oncology and volunteers with the Boston chapter of the National Brain Tumor Society. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, advancing research and practice in neurogenic communication disorders.
