Taína Jiménez López, SLP.D., CCC-SLP, is currently an Assistant Professor and Practicum Coordinator at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus. She is a bilingual speech-language pathologist who primarily provides services via teletherapy to culturally and linguistically diverse school-age children with various communication disorders. Taina received her B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Puerto Rico. Taína completed her SLP Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 2020. She has worked primarily in the school setting as a clinician in Massachusetts (Boston Public School) and California. Taina worked as Clinical Training Director at Albizu University and Clinical Manager at Bilingual Therapies and VocoVision. Taina is a member of the Coordinating Committee of ASHA’s Special Interest Group 18 Telepractice. She is also part of the board of directors of her state’s organization, OPPHLA.
