Eye gaze (AAC)

Eye gaze (AAC)

Overview:

Eye-gaze AAC allows individuals with severe physical impairments to communicate hands-free by using their eyes as a pointer. A specialized eye-tracking camera follows the user’s gaze as they select symbols or letters on a screen to generate words and sentences. Though it requires training and precision, this method can significantly improve independence and social interaction for users.
