SLP's Perspective in Teaching the American Accent

Pronunciation is a vital part of language learning. Many English language learners want to learn ways to “reduce” their accent or learn to sound native. Did you know that English is the most spoken language globally by native and non-native speakers, and there are over 160 dialects? This course is designed for SLPs interested in learning about accent modification and providing services. The course discusses the efficacy, benefits, and techniques of accent modification. It’s perfect for those just starting in this area or those wanting new ideas for their clients.
