Part 2 of this three-part course will review approaches to choosing and developing strength-based neurodiverse-affirming goals for young autistic learners based on strength-based assessments. The presenter will review goals for prelinguistic and limited-speaking autistic learners used in various clinical settings in conjunction with evidence-based naturalistic, developmental, and relationship-based treatment approaches. Methods for monitoring progress will also be discussed. Resources will be shared for goals for young autistic learners with a higher need for support.
