In Melissa’s second lecture, we address both the speech component of VPI (velopharyngeal insufficiency), but also the more elusive and often misunderstood swallowing aspect of VPI. She also educates colleagues about signs and symptoms that would warrant a VPI evaluation and the steps involved during the VPI eval.
