In this episode, Corinne Zmoos, MS, CCC-SLP, is joined by Ruby Orwenyo, PhD, MA, LMSW, who shares about her growing understanding of Gestalt Processing and her experience opening a business dedicated to sensory play. Ruby is the co-founder of BeeZee Sensory Gym, which was developed in recognition that "Inclusive" play environments often fall short in truly accommodating neurodivergent children. Together, Corinne and Ruby will cover the basics of Gestalt Processing and discuss the importance of spaces where autistic children can engage in the movement their bodies need.
