This course takes a closer look at the foundational skills and developmental stages of joint attention, including different types of joint attention and how they may present across children. You’ll learn how to assess joint attention using strength-based tools and approaches that provide a more complete picture of a child’s current skills.
Janine will also discuss how assessment findings can guide clinical decision-making, from identifying meaningful starting points for intervention to writing clear, strength-based assessment summaries and developing goals that align with each child’s strengths, needs, and developmental level. You’ll leave with additional assessment tools and a stronger framework for understanding differences in joint attention.
