In this course, Carmen White, PhD, CCC-SLP, explores how speech-language pathologists can integrate inclusive and culturally responsive practices into intervention planning and collaborative care. Participants will examine how cultural identities, communication preferences, family perspectives, and individual needs shape clinical decision-making and service delivery.
Through evidence-based discussions, case studies, and practical examples from pediatric and adult settings, participants will explore strategies for developing meaningful, individualized treatment goals, building collaborative relationships with clients and families, and adapting intervention approaches to support equitable, accessible, and person-centered care.
