Through evidence-based discussion and practical clinical examples, participants will identify sensitive versus specific diagnostic markers, select and interpret assessment tasks for apraxia of speech, and analyze overlapping presentations of aphasia and apraxia of speech. By the end of the course, clinicians will be better prepared to make accurate differential diagnoses, communicate findings clearly to patients and families, and develop treatment plans that address the underlying source of the communication breakdown.
