The course examines respiratory ratios, vagal tone, nasal nitric oxide, resonance, and soft palate function to show how breathing can affect communication. Angela also covers the origins and science of breathwork, including pranayama, and its relevance to voice, fluency, and communication disorders.
You’ll learn how to recognize when breathwork may be appropriate, match techniques to a client’s presentation, and introduce them with confidence. The course also addresses when a referral to another provider may be the right next step.
