Like stuttering, cluttering is a type of fluency disorder that may feel challenging for SLPs to address. There are many important considerations and strategies to facilitate understanding and long-term progress for a client who clutters. This session will focus on identifying and treating cluttering, with an additional focus on differentiating cluttering and stuttering. Participants will learn how to recognize the criteria for diagnosis of cluttering, as well as planning goals and treatment for someone who clutters. The goal is to increase your confidence moving forward with individuals who clutter to provide best practice and quality intervention.
