This workshop will explore the development of the skills necessary for auditory processing and how auditory processing leads to language processing and the development of phonological skills. These skills are presented in a hierarchy to show auditory skills and that listening is a dynamic event. It will include the Who, What, Why, and most importantly, the HOW- the actual therapeutic strategies that are successful time and again, culminating in “The Integrated Lesson Plan”- integrating listening and language skills in every session to treat each child individually and holistically.
