Participants will learn about dynamic assessment and its purpose in assessing and diagnosing childhood apraxia of speech and tools that can be used during the assessment process. Participants will also learn the key components of treatment for children with CAS (principles of motor learning, prosody, movement, and target selection) while increasing their understanding of what makes therapy for these children different and why it is crucial to shift the intervention approach.
