This course provides guidance for speech-language pathologists to effectively supervise SLPA students. To foster a successful learning environment for the SLPA student, the following will be outlined: models of supervision, components of the supervisory process, and supervision styles. Mentorship will also be discussed so that the SLP will develop skills to empower SLPA students in their clinical journey and ensure optimal professional growth.
