Sensory Processing Disorder is a complex condition that affects a children's functioning
across all areas of development and environments. It can present without any other diagnosis but is often associated with Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder. As speech-language pathologists, comprehending the sensory needs of children with sensory processing differences allows for a better
understanding of the children we treat, increased efficacy of speech therapy sessions, and improved outcomes. This workshop, presented by an SLP and OT, will share many specific tools and strategies to enhance the children's success in all environments by giving participants hands-on, ready-to-use information for immediate and easy use.
