Conversations are how we share ideas, learn, and establish relationships. Students with social cognitive challenges struggle with many aspects of conversation because there are so few rules for them to learn and follow. This workshop will focus on building conversational competence with a semi-structured program of Conversation Paths Pack Expanded Version. Including social learning concepts that underlie conversation, we’ll also review practice activities, the challenges of assessment, and rubrics to measure progress.
