Down syndrome is the most common congenital syndrome, featuring uncommon speech, language, and learning challenges. Interventions for these needs are limited, and Speech-Language Pathologists often lack adequate training to address the diverse skills required for independence. Because most individuals receive speech and language services in schools, this course will address strengthening inclusion and fostering independent communication success.
