As feeding therapists, we have witnessed and engaged in past EBP strategies and how they fall short of serving our neurodivergent patients. On the other side of knowing better and doing better, when we take additional courses, how do we actually implement the new material? This course will teach clinicians how to engage in the principles of responsive feeding, DIR/Floortime, and trauma-informed therapy as it relates to feeding therapy. This course will also teach you how to blend the medical model with neurodiversity-affirming care, to help children develop a positive relationship with food without tiptoeing.
