Developmental language disorder (DLD) is a communication disorder that interferes with learning, understanding, and using language. These language difficulties are not explained by other conditions or lack of exposure to language or learning experiences. DLD can affect a child’s speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This course will address an overview of DLD, a case study, goals for intervention, and therapy strategies. Breakout rooms will be used for case study discussions.
