Dementia is a term used to identify memory loss, and we aim to differentiate between normal aging and dementia types/subtypes, as well as the disorders that co-occur with various dementia types. We will also explore the crucial role of SLPs in treating this population and discover innovative approaches to treatment planning that promote independence and overall well-being. The Adult track will cover topics on dementia, treatment planning, and bilingual assessment.
