Char Boshart is a speech-language pathologist, author, seminar presenter, and president and co-founder of Speech Dynamics, Inc. She graduated with her Master’s degree from Western Michigan University under the extraordinary tutelage of Dr. Charles Van Riper, the “father” of articulation therapy during the final years of his illustrious career. Char began her career in the public schools in the early 70’s with a caseload of over 110 children. Since then, she has worked many years in the public schools, developed and ran her own private practice, and, for seven years was an Assistant Professor and Department Chair of the Speech Pathology and Audiology Department at Loma Linda University in southern California. Her interest in creating effective therapy techniques has evolved into the development of several practical articulation publications, videos (articulation and language), and articles.
Jennifer Gray is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 20 years of experience treating those with speech, language, and feeding delays and disorders. She has spent the last 12+ of those years specializing in communication and feeding for those with the intellectual disabilities and motor speech disorders. She owns and operates companies offering consulting and direct services, including Early Intervention and private practice for infants, children, teens, and adults through traditional and telepractice/teletherapy settings. Her experience working in universities, public schools, private practice, and early intervention settings has led her to seek more effective therapeutic approaches for young children with moderate to severe intellectual and motor speech needs. She currently trains therapists, caretakers, and educators to use methods that work teaching courses and speaking at local, state, and national conventions. Jennifer Gray continues to seek and develop innovative and evidence-based practices to ensure functional outcomes for educational, social, and independent living success.
