With advanced technology, our world has become more globalized and connected, making interactions among people even easier than ever. However, has this change increased our cultural awareness and understanding of each other professionally? In this part 1 of a 2-part course, participants will be connected with Speech Language Pathologists from various parts of the world and learn from them what the access and pathway to SLP is in their country. Cultural aspects and differences that impact SLP services will be highlighted. A case study will be presented by each panelist discussing it from his/her native country’s perspective.
