Building Bridges - Addressing the Whole Student

This course is designed to enhance the skills of the educator in building the kinds of professional relationships with colleagues that help facilitate the holistic learning of students with disabilities. It explores the characteristics of an inclusive classroom and provides the structure for effective co-teaching. It addresses the need for open communication and the steps required in creating an environment that resolves conflicts as they arise and fosters the development of assets that help ensure student success.
