She graduated with her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Michigan University under the tutelage of Dr. VanRiper (the "father" of articulation). Since that time, she's worked several years in the public schools, in the clinical setting, private practice, and as an Assistant Professor and Department Chair at Loma Linda University. Ms. Boshart has presented numerous well-received one- and two-day articulation and language seminars through Speech Dynamics, the Bureau of Education and Research (BER), and hundreds of associations and school-districts.

A bit about Char, the person...  “I grew up in southern California and have four grown kids and four grand-kids. And now we live in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, in a cabin, on the river, across from the grazing cows. It’s gloriously peaceful and quiet.” Favorite color: Red Favorite food: Moose Tracks Ice Cream Favorite activities: In addition to researching and writing speech path books and articles, and connecting with therapists, she likes to read mysteries (while soaking in the sun by the river), listen to old-time radio dramas, go to plays and concerts, go off-roading in their Jeep, travel, sing, and go to dinner with friends.
